Buried Treasure

Buried Treasure

Good morning! How is your day going? I woke up early and couldn’t go back to sleep as I was thinking about the lyrics and song I put to my most recent collaboration . The concept of regret and the path we take. How if we could see it before hand how would we make different choices in life. As I am thinking of these lyrics and how they correspond with inevitable suffering that life hands each one of us in differing measures. Was it Socrates that said “suffering is a gift from the gods”? We can learn from our pain, what we bear, what we endure, promotes understanding of what is. How we handle what life offers us. To take our sorrows and create beauty or allow pain to overwhelm us and bring us to ruin. Is it treasure or curse? And what do we do with it?

I can only speak personally as the waves of troubles have washed over me many a time. I have seen God’s hand in my life as I have watched time and again suffering lead to treasure.   I have found that pain is a window. The path to love and its fragrance.

Though it’s tender petals be, Love it’s lasting fragrance see.

I plan to record my harmony tracks soon and have so many more songs to create!

I wish you a beautiful day!

for now

Rachel 🙂
