Zorobabel~ Psalm 71

Zorobabel~ Psalm 71

Good day to you!

Last night was a full moon, and I just found it so hard to sleep. I tossed and turned and decided to get up and wander down to my piano. It felt good to touch those keys in the dark, to sing and play and get lost in the melody my fingers were creating.

Psalm 71 of course the lyrics are divine and so relevant for today,

…” In Thee oh Lord, Do I put my trust, Keep me from confusion….cause me to escape”…

I wrote this song on my piano, the first version is on my first album SENT, you can hear it there. I went to Vancouver and worked with Spencer Capier, who played bass and electric guitar on this song while I played piano, and vocals of course.

Spencer and I worked on this song and in one day had it completed! I love the African vocals in the background. I also love the upbeat tempo we decided to put into the arrangement.

In a day of confusion and changes, it is always so comforting to know, there is ALWAYS a Wayyy!!! Yayyyy!!

Much love to You and have a beautiful day!!

So many tunes ahead!!!

Rachel 🙂
